"Still hangin in there..."
This is what is still alive in a mixed flower pot that I did for my back deck last summer. I thought that the little red flowers were gone for sure because they were just brown twigs during the winter. And the white thing, well, you couldn't even tell it was in the pot during the summer, but it just took off during the cold weather. I've also posted a pic of what it looked like when everything was fully grown and looked really pretty :) You can't tell from the picture, but it was probably a good 4 feet tall from the bottom of the pot to the top of the green leafy plant. (I'm not good with plant names!) I'm not sure if the green leaves will come back up or not because I can't see any of that trying to come up yet but I sure hope it does!
It's amazing that it lived through the winter. It'll be interesting to see how it does this summer.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! When I lived in Ohio, several plants that were in pots on my back patio came back in the spring, and they were annuals, not perennials, so it really surprised me. Sometimes that happens. Oh, and I'm not sure how far we can see in miles, I'm not very good with distance measurements! ;-) But it sure is nice not to have neighbors, you know, the kind where you can look out your bedroom window right into someone else's window! I do love it out here.
